Job Description
IT Engineer Computer/Mobile Phone Technician
Pocket Geek is looking to recruit Repair Technician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In addition to this we do also have a part time position available if this would be preferable to the applicant.
Your main role will be to successfully diagnose and repair mobile phones mainly Apple and Samsung devices as well as laptops and computers. You will be required to work with a high level of precision, quality and meet daily targets.
Repair Technician role require you to
- Replacement of phone and tablet parts (screens, batteries and small parts)
- Basic Laptop and Computer repairs
- Diagnose broken devices
- Good attention to detail
- Be able to work alone unsupervised and in a team
- Ability to learn quick and adapt to new technologies
- To record all completed work within our system
- Good communication skills
- Read and Understand graphics and board view
- Diagnose Mac and Windows laptops
- Diagnose liquid damaged devices
- Be able to carry out common problems such as Backlight, Power, Sound and Charging Issues
- Good attention to detail
- Be able to work alone unsupervised and in a team
- Ability to learn quick and adapt to new technologies
- To record all completed work within our system
- Good communication skills
- Minimum 1 year experience
Schedule
- 38+ hours per week for our full time position
- 14+ hours per week for our part time position
- Monday to Friday (+weekends)
- 8 hour shift
Experience
- MOBILE PHONE REPAIR: 2 year (preferred)
Work Location
Perth and Dundee

Salary: £10.40-£12.50 per hour
